May, 13.
I just worked on my Brazilian Civilisation today, and guess what? I am actually gonna miss my teacher. I loved the way he always swore when he talked, and I liked the way he talked too. I will always remember the day when he danced samba. I heard that my Chinese Civilisation teacher, for next year, is just a teacher that speaks French with a Chinese accent.
Last year, our Japanese Civilisation teacher looked like an old French TV Presentator, and he used to hold his microphone as if he was a rockstar. We loved him for that - I guess we sort of like the original teachers. I missed him. And next year, I am gonna miss my Brazilian Civilisation teacher.
I thought of this when, while I was doing a pause, Emmanuelle sent a message to Olivia on Facebook saying : “I love finding little hearts with JPA drawn in your lessons”. Yeah, I will miss this.
Song of the day : Careless Whisper by Alex Gaskarth, Juliet Simms & 3Oh!3

May, 12 (I just want to talk about a so special 12th of May. Last year, I went to my first Green Day show on the 12th of May. It was in a small hall, with no huge lights or something. Just Billie Joe and his guitar. Mike Dirnt and his bass. Tré Cool and his drums. We were 700 in the hall. I was among these 700 people and I will never realize how lucky I have been to go to this concert. Probably, among these 700 people, I was the only one crying. This concert has been and will always be the most amazing concert ever. I’ve gone to tons of concerts since this day, but none of them has been that great. This was my dream coming true. I can tell you. This day, I was the happiest and luckiest girl of the whole universe.)
The 12th of May is sort of public holiday for me now, but I still had to work on my exams - SME & Brazilian civilization.
Nevermind. We went to Ikea (once again) and we bought tons of things for my bedroom. It’s almost done, I can’t wait. When we got home, I had a shower and during this time, my brother assembled my desk and my shelf, even if it was 11pm. My brother will never realize it, but he’s the best person of the world. And I kind of think I’m the only one to see it.
Song of the day : Time to Dance - Panic! At the Disco
Picture : Heroes. Nobody in this world can beat them. Nobody. For sure.

May, 11 (Delayed. Cause : Concert, baby)
Let’s not care about my homework, it’s always the same. SME is the most boring subject ever. Enough said.
I went to Owl City’s concert with Ed & Doris. I had hesitated to go, because I didn’t know his music a lot, and I don’t like going to concerts when I don’t know a lot about the artist. But I was in a huge need of a concert, so I went, and all I can conclude is : Adam Young is a fucking genius. This guy is so brilliant. His music is absolutely wonderful. And his concert was a sort of bubble of joy and happiness, it makes you never want to get out of the hall, never want it to end. During Fireflies, all the audience sang together - I love these kind of moments where the audience sings. I can’t imagine how it feels for an artist to live moments like this, it must be so thrilling.
The two opening acts - Matthew P and A Fine Frenzy - were amazing as well. Matthew P is cool, and A Fine Frenzy’s music is so beautiful, a bit heartbreaking but, still, it was awesome. (And I definitely want Alison’s hair). We met the musicians at the end, they were all lovely.
Song of the day : Fireflies - Owl City

May, 10 (I’m done with school in 11 days)
Today was just a normal day in a study week. I worked my British civilization, nothing really exciting, even if I like this subject.
I watched The Final Riot! for the first time, and it was really amazing. I wanted to watch it for so long, and the waiting was worth it. I can’t describe it. I wish I had seen Paramore during this tour. I wish I had even known them during this tour. I got into them in October 2008. I will always remember this.
It was during our first oral comprehension lesson, we had to write three things about us : two must be true, and one must be a lie. Olivia (whom I didn’t know at the time) said she had met one of her favourite bands, and a few days later, when we got to know each other, I asked her who the band was, and she told me it was Paramore. I only knew their name, so I went on Youtube to listen to their music, and I chose Crushcrushcrush because I liked the name of the song. And then, I fell in love with the song, and then the band. And now, they’re my second favourite band ever - nobody can beat Green Day. Nobody.
I’ve seen them only once, and I wish I had known them during The Final Riot! tour. And I hope that someday, they will play Let the Flames Begin again. This song is not my favourite from them (it’s actually My Heart), but the live versions of this song are always perfect, brilliant and amazing.
Song of the day : Gives you Hell - The All-American Rejects. (I got this stuck in my head all day long)

May, 9. (Delayed because I don’t go on my computer after concerts)
This was a day like I want to live every single day of my life. First, I went to the cinema with Ed, Lou & Celine. We watched Iron Man 2 - I hate actions movies and that kind of movies, I don’t find Robert Downey Jr attractive at all. What I wouldn’t do for them! Anyway, there was Scarlett Johansson and a freaking good soundtrack in the movie, so it was cool. Then, we ate at McDonalds, Doris joined us and we hang out at the Champs-Elysées, taking tons of pictures and saying and doing stupid things, and laughing out loud, and hating to say goodbye, as usual.
Then, I went at La Maroquinerie for Peter Doherty’s concert, and oh my god, it was really fabulous. We had three great opening acts, and then, Peter. It was the first time I saw him live and I didn’t imagine he was that good on stage. He’s really nice to people - some guys shouted “Sing” with the title of the song, and he was like “Okay”, and then he played the song. Plus, he is a really good musician, and I love how uncertain his shows seem to be. It was like he could play for hours, he seems like he comes on stage and doesn’t even know what songs he’s going to play. I’m really happy I got to see him, he’s someone I really admire, and I admire him even more now. And oh, he played What Katie Did & Can’t Stand Me Now from the Libertines, and Down in Albion from the Babyshambles. And I loved it. Really.
Song : Last of the English Roses, Peter Doherty. Maybe he is. Sort of.
Picture : I don’t have my concert pictures on my computer, but I have the ones from the moments with Them. So I put one of them. I love you.

May, 8 (Liz & Alice’s birthday. Don’t want to be cheesy. These two girls are fucking amazing. And I don’t say that to please or something. They really are great, interesting, among the most intelligent people I’ve ever met)
Spent the day not at my bro’s, but in Belgium (all the coast, from Ostende to Knokke, and then Brugge), and a bit in the Netherlands (Breskens). It was freaking cold, I won’t do you a weather forecast of the day, but it was obviously too cold for a normal May. Anyway, this was cool ! I thought Ostende was an ugly city (when you first see a town and the only thing you see is huge buildings in front of the sea, you’re not likely to believe that the town is beautiful), but it obviously isn’t. And I had never been to the Netherlands, and I loved it - apart from the weather. Of course, being in the Netherlands made me thought of Doris, because she’s a huge Destine fan, and they’re Dutch.
Song of the day : Penny Lane - The Beatles (I heard them on the radio and sang along, I loved it). We’re not gonna mention that I got JustinThing’s song stuck in the head all day long.
Picture : Brugge.
May, 7 (Delayed because I wasn’t at home, ahah)
First : I obviously failed my linguistics exam. My teacher tried to buy us with Milky Ways, but you don’t catch me with that, you bitch. I still got principles, you know. (Sorry for the rudeness)
Second : I left for a weekend out at the bro’s, in Picardy. Was cool. Was cold. In what type of world is it 13°C on May?
Song of the day : Fireworks - You Me At Six (The only thing I remember is listening to the whole Hold Me Down before going to university)
Picture : YMA6 - Max & Josh.

May, 6 (Pauline’s birthday. Oh, and it’s delayed because I have forgotten to write it, and I only remembered it when I went to bed. And, for an absent-minded person like me, it’s quite a good score to have forgotten to write only once within 59 days)
Okay, so after failing my phonetics, theme and british civilization exam, I also failed the linguistics. I was able to do it, I had worked enough to do it properly, but we hadn’t enough time to do it entirely. We had four analyses to do, plus one theme exercise, and I only had time to do three analyses and the theme exercise, which I regret I did, because I could have had more time to do the fourth analysis. I don’t think my two grades will compensate. I have only two subjets in which I am sure to have at least 10 : German, and version (I had 15/20 to my exam, I’m really proud!)
Nothing more apart from my grade problems, the only thing I want to say is that I hate the people who complain about one problem to a person who is not even concerned but knows some of the concerned people. I try not to care, even if it’s really hard. I’ve never had the habit to annoy people who don’t want me anymore, and I won’t change my mind right now. I just hate the complains and the taunting people, maybe as much as I hate petiteness and childishness.
But I don’t mind. I know indifference’s gonna comme right after hatred and anger. And then, I will perfectly live with that, and be happy.
“Good things might come to those who wait”.
Song of the day : Oops ! I did it again (Cover) by VersaEmerge. They’re awesome.
Picture : VersaEmerge. I hope they’ll come to France someday.

May, 5 (One year ago, I bought my first tickets ever to see Green Day.)
Today, I think I failed my british civilisation exam. It was supposed to be about documents, and my teacher put only questions from the courses, which I didn’t had time to read again. I hate feeling that I work for nothing. And plus, half of my classmates own an iPhone, and I know they all were looking at Wikipedia with their iPhone because our teacher doesn’t really care about what we’re doing during the exam. And that pisses me off. I can’t bear being honest and working and get less than the ones who cheat and doesn’t work. I know, it’s naive. I can’t help.
A guy I know posted on Twitter that Peter Doherty was doing a concert in Paris on Sunday, and as I have never seen him and really really admire him, I decided to buy a ticket. In a year, he came a lot to Paris, but I couldn’t go. He came last March, the same night as Fall Out Boy (where I was), for the Music Day, and he cancelled the show, the same night as Green Day (where I was too), and for a secret concert that I didn’t know what happening. Now, I’m pretty sure I’ll see him on Sunday, and I’m really glad. I really admire him, he’s such a great musician. I don’t care about his drug problem. I only care about the music, and I freaking like it. Enough said.
Song of the day : Lost in Stereo, All Time Low - I promise, one day, I’ll choose anything else than an All Time Low Song
Picture : Sunday, guys !

May, 4 - Delayed because of exams (One year ago, Olivia, Ralph & I were running in the Trocadéro to win tickets to see Green Day at the Trabendo. I asked money to all my classmates to pay my train ticket… I really wanted it! I will always remember the message Olivia left me on my inbox, this day was so epic. May, 4th also means Star Wars Day, Nate Novarro’s birthday & Mike Dirnt’s birthday)
I failed at my theme AND phonetics exams unless I worked a lot. I won’t tell you again how bad I feel after failing at an exam when I work a lot, you already know it. For our phonetics exam, we were supposed to record ourselves, but our teacher didn’t manage to make the recorder work while the other group could have them working, which I found very unfair - also because speaking would have brought me more points than writing, I’m not really good at phonetics. And my theme teacher gave us texts with words that even us, French speakers, never use in the real life.
I learnt that All Time Low were playing Rock en Seine in August, 27, so I booked my ticket ! It comforts me after the shock of missing Leeds & Reading festival. So next August, I’ll see All Time Low, Blink-182 & The Kooks on the 27th, and the day after, I’ll see Paolo Nutini & Stereophonics ! And I’ll be with Edouard, and Audrey, Lou, Odile, Virginie, Isa, Julie, Claire and Carole will try to come, which is gonna be awesome if it happens !
Song of the day : Poppin’ Champagne - All Time Low
